Installation Guide
Here are the installation guides for the Epic Clouds 2024 from JustFlight.com, Flightsim.to and the MSFS 2024 Marketplace when that becomes available.

Preparation
You will be installing the Epic Clouds in the same way as other addons:
- Uninstall ALL previous versions
- Download the new installation file and unzip it
- Choose one of the Installation methods below
I recommend setting the cloud quality to at least HIGH.
Installing Files Manually
The zip file you downloaded from either JustFlight.com or Flightsim.to will need to be manually unzipped. It contains all your installation options and useful shortcuts. Look into each sub-folder, a zip file normally contains more than one package that you can choose from.
Installing Manually for MSFS 2024
There is just one version to choose, it will either be a mini pack sampler if you downloaded for free from Flightsim.to (FEClouds 2024 v2.0 – mini pack) or the complete set (FEClouds 2024 v2.2 – complete) if you bought them from JustFlight.com. Look through the downloaded zip file and its sub-folders for the correct folder enclosing the pack.
The default location for your Community Folder will be:
- For Steam:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community - For Microsoft Store:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
If you have a folder called Community2024 available use that one instead.
Be sure to remove all other variants of the Epic Clouds from the community folders before adding a new one. Only one Epic Clouds package can be present at a time.
Once the folder is in place you will need to shut down Microsoft Flight Simulator and then restart it. The new presets will then be found and loaded into the drop-down weather list.
Installing Manually for MSFS 2020
There are 5 versions to choose from.
You only need to install one of them.
- FEClouds 2020 v1.7c – classic collection

The default location for your Community Folder will be:
- For Steam:

Installing for the Addons Linker Program
- If you are using the Addons Linker program, put JUST ONE of the options into the root directory that you are using for the Addons Linker.
- Remember to enable the Epic Cloud addon within the linker program’s checkbox so that a shortcut is created from the community folder to the addon.
- Restart the sim.
- The new presets will have been added to the sim’s Weather presets list and will be prefixed with ‘fec’ meaning Floyds Epic Clouds.

How to Uninstall the Epic Clouds
You uninstall in the same way as other addons:
- Move the ‘Floyds Epic Clouds’ folder out your community folder or uncheck the clouds from Addons Linker program
- Restart the sim
- The Epic Clouds will no longer be in the Weather presets list.
Installing via the MSFS 2024 Marketplace
Currently the application to sell the Epic Clouds via the Marketplace is stuck in the application queue so it may not be visible at the moment.
Installing from the MSFS 2024 Marketplace
When you buy the Epic Clouds from the MSFS marketplace, Microsoft will make the Epic Clouds available as a streamed download in your library. When the stream is enabled the Epic Clouds will automatically be added to the list of weather presets after the sim has been restarted.
Uninstalling from the MSFS 2024 Marketplace
To uninstall the Epic Clouds, disable its stream status in your library and restart the sim.

Can I Install the 2020 Epic Clouds to the 2024 Sim?
Its possible but pointless. You will end up with bad looking clouds. Asobo have made several changes to the clouds in MSFS 2024.
