What’s Happening As Of Today?

Although the Marketplace is open I have not yet been accepted as a development partner. However, previously broken URLs to my application have been repaired and the status is set to ‘under consideration’.

Why Not Sell Via Other Platforms?

There are advantages in using the marketplace in the long term that I feel are worth waiting for, namely:

• Lower fees – making it cheaper for the customers and myself
• A broader reach – direct access to the customer base
• Access to the XBox customer base via the automated installation
• A simpler update mechanism
• Some protection from reverse engineering and file sharing
