What’s Happening As Of Today?

Although the Marketplace is open I have not yet been accepted as a development partner. The status of my application has been set to ‘Application In Review’ since 8th October 2024 when I applied.

when I applied on October 8th 2024 I thought 6 weeks was plenty of time to get through the acceptance phase.

Why Not Sell Via Other Platforms?

  • Flightsim.to does not accept paid upgrades on its platform.
  • Some sim marketplaces require developers to be represented by a business entity.
  • There are advantages in using the marketplace for the long term:
    • No requirement to be a business entity
    • Lower fees
    • A broader reach
    • Access to multiple platforms
    • Automated installation
    • A simple update mechanism
    • Protection from reverse engineering
