I didn’t anticipate getting reviewers taking an interest, but there were a flurry of them when the Epic Clouds were first released, which was interesting and intimidating. I think reading reviews of your own work is a good way to get feedback if you can handle the potential for a few unpleasant comments here and there.

When I launched the Epic Clouds, some people seemed surprised that making clouds was even ‘a thing’ or that it was necessary. As far as I am concerned, clouds in general are extremely underrated and I love making them. Now there are several cloud packs and programs about the weather.

These videos were an unexpected surprise… I didn’t anticipate getting reviewers taking an interest. These were all made when the clouds were first released, but they rarely get a mention now and they have never been credited as part of a video although airports and aircraft almost always are.

Its hard to listen to praise or criticism, but it is essential to listen to both in order to improve.

Videos Incorporating the Epic Clouds

I found a bunch of videos that used the MSFS 2020 Epic Clouds back when there was more interest. Since the really horrible release of MSFS 2024 things have gone fairly quiet and it’s taken an entire year for the new sim to get useable, even though it cost circa £130. And there are still a queue of bugs to solve. I’m sure the new involvement with the PS5 will have another massive detrimental impact on the quality of the sim.

Anyway, here are some of the older videos, if they still exist.
